RunAsDate is a small utility that allows you to run a program in the date and time that you specify. This utility doesn't change the current system date and time of your computer, but it only injects the date/time that you specify into the desired application.

You can run multiple applications simultaneously, each application works with different date and time, while the real date/time of your system continues to run normally.

Runs on:Win2K / WinXP / Vista / Win7 / Win8 / Win10
Writes settings to: Application folder
Stealth: ? Yes
Unicode support: Yes
License: Freeware
How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch RunAsDate.exe.
What's new? You can now attach to a process from command-line. You can specify the process filename or process ID, for example:
RunAsDate.exe 25\04\2005 17:12:15 Attach:Outlook.exe
RunAsDate.exe 25\04\2005 17:12:15 Attach:2756

From the developer’s site, for those who entertain a similar thought:

I get many emails that say "I tried to extend the trial period of xyz software with RunAsDate and it didn't work"… RunAsDate was created for legitimate purposes. For some shareware, RunAsDate might really work, but many shareware creators are smart enough to detect that the date/time was modified, and they end the trial period immediately.

A new version 1.31 of RunAsDate, which fixes the discrepancy between version number and file version number, has been released, for more information see this forum post:

I really find this program useful just like most all NIRSOFT products :)

This is __philippe's territory but I noticed that file version is while "About" shows version 1.31.

Sorry... Meant to write "...change a file's date and time of execution."

Very handy indeed for those times you wish to change a file's date and time. Thank you once again, Nir ! ! !
