SiteShoter is a small utility that allows you to save a screenshot of any Web page into a file. It automatically creates hidden window of Internet Explorer, loads the desired Web page, and than save the entire content of the Web page into an image file (PNG, JPG, TIFF, BMP or GIF). Includes a command-line interface mode.

How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch SiteShoter.exe.
What's new?
  • Fixed bug: SiteShoter failed to save the file with %url% variable if the Web site URL specified a port number ( For example: http://mywebsite.com:8080 )

working with Mozilla Firefox you can do that: by the menù File/Save as or File/Save with name.

Make sure to check automatically extend browser size according to Web page.

This works. It captured a picture of an entire web page 1024x11126 pixels in size. Nice.

faststone capture is great but it can't capture scrolling windows from ie7 and it doesn't capture horizontal scrolling screen/wide pages(at least the last freeware version)

so can this app do the above?

FastStone Capture can also capture most scrolling screens (in most programs). Good for capturing online forms, your highlights, etc. http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=775
