avast 4.7 is reporting a trojan

siw v1.63 is much more powerful, has won several awards and
does not report a trojan

Avast is a very annoying anti-virus solution. Though I'd recommend going with a different anti-virus solution.

but is it really a trojan. I have another portable app for finding the key but it doesnt back up the activation files. RockXP is the orginal software for getting your key. I remebr how big it was when it first came out.

Are you sure? it is more than possible for Anti-Virus/Spyware programs to give false positives. I had that happen to me with TimeCoreSolo and AntiVir. So the author of TimeCoreSolo contacted AntiVir and they corrected their virus definitions.

well im guessing it can be counted as a hacking tool :) thats why AVAST says its a trojan. A "hacking tool" would be better catagory for this app since it can recieve Keys and now hashes
