I recently stumbled upon a small app called Tech Info
I think it's a great little program although by its nature it won't appeal to everyone.

Chemistry

Astronomy
Mathematics
Geography.

It also includes a moon phase tool, a greek alphabet reference and a unit converter

It's available from ... The Site shows a number of small apps all of which are stated to be portable.
So worth browsing but I suspect that few others will engender much interest.
(Ooooh possible the lingerie screensavers ???)

Techinfo – Scientific data tables. More interesting than it sounds, really.
Constants, data tables and formulae from the areas of Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics, and Geography.
Has an Inbuilt calculator, moon phase tool and other scientific trivia. Not currently maintained.
This program uses an old version of Delphi, and is no longer maintained.
