Can anyone suggest a portable media manager, or more specifically, a manager that handles AVI files well?
Basically, I need a manager that lists all AVI files in one or more folders, and displays their codec and resolution. On top of that, it needs to let me create and populate custom fields, then display them in columns as well so that I can sort them by these columns.
The manager should also let me play the AVI files directly using predefined media players, or shell-associated ones.
Thanks!

Hi
don;t know if anything like that exist - I see some difficulties to use such highly defined app.
personally I use A43 as a file manager - very usefull and quite little fm with many hints and VLC or MPUI (recently more and more frequently :] )
player with embeded codecs keeping me out of install anything on my bisness laptop :]
