anyone ever have problems while extracting?
(Windows Explorer freezes)
could it be related to long files names/multiple sub directories?
Windows 7 Native Zip Support

It can't handle, among other tings, passwords, unicode characters, any other compressions methods than Deflate. You better use something better.

Re: Windows 7 Native Zip Support
Use 7-Zip instead. It's about twice as fast, supports any format you're going to encounter, is open source/free, is available portably and won't cause hiccups with other things.

Re: Windows 7 Native Zip Support
thanks guys, it's just frustrating to not know why with some zip files Windows Explorer freezes with the only way to close is killing the process, and even then, i have to wait a few seconds.
that explains why...
@ John
I use your 7-ZipPortable all the time. It's installed on my D partition, so when i do a clean install, it's not affected and i don't have to reinstall
the Dual-Pane option is extremely useful.
