Can't get it to work.

Portable launcher runs and put the CPU at 100%, but the actual EXE isn't run (when viewed using Task Manager).

It seem that you did not put the EXE file(FoxitReader.exe) from the Foxit Software into this FoxitReaderPortable/App/Foxit Reader/ folder.
FoxitReader.exe is not included in the portable launcher. you should download it separately.
Hope this helps.

Got it working. Thanks!

Do you have a permanent website for this? I can add it to the database if you want.

I have added this to the database and temporarily hosting the launcher file until a permanent home is found for it.

If I view the registry activity using Process Monitor, it shows, that Foxit Reader reads and writes HKCR\FoxitReader.Document and HKCU\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\. When I run Foxit Reader Portable without Process Monitor after deleting HKCR\FoxitReader.Document, it creates that key. But HKCU\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\ is automatically deleted after exiting the program. Can you add HKCR\FoxitReader.Document to list of controlled keys?

To DeathManager,

Code: Select all

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\FoxitReader.Document and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pdf
I already know these two keys exist in the registry. I will try to removed them in the new version.

To Andrew,
I will try to setting up the page for my portable launchers.

Thanks for your support.
