I haven't tested usability but it stores language setting in the registry (version 2.1 build 5, on XP SP2):

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\undelete360\gui

Edit:
+ also stores other settings there (recovered files path, etc.)

Portable version

The following install file is a simple exe file. There is no installer or uninstaller, no desktop or start menu icons are created, and no registry or other system changes are made. The portable install is suitable for users who want to perform a manual install or for users who want to install undelete 360 as a portable app on a USB flash drive. To run Undelete 360 Portable from your Flash drive, download it to your USB memory drive and run undelete-360.exe.

They are going to change the way portable version stores the settings (for the next version, that will also include the Romanian translation. )

Like smaragdus noted regarding another function, the current release of Undelete-360 (v2.1.6.26) is crippleware -- please upload last full version, if you still have it...
