Be careful - this isn't the official website, and Activision (the current owners of Infocom) has played ping-pong with the legal status of the Zork series - see Wikipedia and LiberatedGames.com and various other spots via Google.
Short version is, it's not clear whether the Zork series' status as freeware from the past applies today. Personally, I say "once free, always free", but then I'm not a lawyer and I couldn't even begin to argue that before a judge.
