I know you already have the newest version of miniaim on your site, but yo should list the old one, as it runs under WINE and the new one doesn't. This is important for people like myself, who run on Linux 50% of the time.

i like the idea of keeping linux apps available, even if a newer version comes out. but how to make this recognizable???

hmm

He could put it in the description in bold so that the only people that use it are the ones that need it.

I can do that. I'll try to test any apps that people post in the forums on WINE. I could be the "Official Linux Tester" like a trashman being a "sanitaition engineer" :D

I don't like the idea of putting this information in the main database. How about we create a separate forum section for this purpose? eg. "Portable apps that runs under WINE"

ok

That would be fine. Appealing to more people is always a good thing though.

Just to be even more generic you might just want the section to be called something like "Portable apps that run under emulation".

OK, new forum created for this purpose. I hope to add a per-app commenting function soon, so that could also be another avenue for adding app-specific information.
