RegScanner

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

RegScanner

RegScanner is a small utility that allows you to scan the Registry, find the desired Registry values that match to the specified search criteria, and display them in one list. After finding the Registry values, you can easily jump to the right value in RegEdit, simply by double-clicking the desired Registry item.
This utility is quicker and more powerfull than "Find" in RegEdit.

Web site http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/regscanner.html
Download http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/regscanner.zip

Just unpack the .zip and run. Writes settings to regscanner.cfg in the application directory.

There are other freeware utilities at this site, which I will look into in my copious free time.

Posted to the database. Thanks!

This looks like a really great registry tool. I hate the "Find next" model of RegEdit and much prefer the filtered view presented by RegScanner.
