Midori is most likely abandoned for good. A good, detailed article about Midori:

By the way the website - the_simple_computer, is also abandoned.

Disclaimer: There’s currently no working build of the latest WebKit2 for Windows or MacOS so there’s no binary release for these systems for now.

Has this changed?
