A couple users on PortableApps.com also reported being served 25516 but then when they downloaded it again, they were still getting 25460. I get 25460 every time I try. Officially, the latest version is 25460 and that's what we have uTorrent Portable at.

Which doesn't contradict my point. Most people aren't getting that. I just downloaded from utorrent.com from two different browsers both with cache cleared. I get 25460. I open up my local uTorrent install of 25460 and check for updates. No updates available. You have it, and that's great, but it's not officially out (as evidenced from the release notes in their forum). It was either a mistake or they've released it to some geographic areas by IP and not others.

I downloaded it, as many others, from utorrent.com, on 09/08/2011.
I don't know any related issue.

Well then the obvious reason is there was a bug in that release so they decided to revert to the previous stable version. zak_711, no one is saying we don't believe you, but you're not helping your cause by posting 'it's a miracle!' If you were to come back and say, 'I download today (19/08/2011) and it shows a new version number' then perhaps it could be to do with your IP location, but as it stands you downloaded this 10 days ago.

Yes, you are right, I don't wanna to create any question. I make this post yesterday only because I haven't seen the update after nine days. As pointed out before, I don't know anything about related issues, problems or bugs.
I haven't seen anything, quite the same, but if this is a problem for you ...

1. stable release (download from official site) 3.0.25460
2. public beta 3.0.25516
released from author Ludvig Strigeus directly to Softpedia.com - Romania location - direct download link http://www.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownlo ... 95&t=3&i=1
3. developer edition 3.0.25538
this build is no public

Inside uTorrent page on Softpedia.com site http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/F ... rent.shtml there are some news about this version (3.0.25516):
· Change: enable speed graph by default
· Change: change default window size to fit all default columns
At this moment the official build of uTorrent is 3.0.25460 (John T. Haller has right).
