Anim8or Has Come a Long Way
Searching Anim8or here found last posting to be 2010...
Alot has happened to it... It is now up to version 1.00. It has Zbrush colored GUI and large edges (on geometry) and a great topo-knife as well
Yes, It does write to reg but that's how it stores its various asset paths & such
