Does anyone know if it is possible to use the Xing MP3 encoder that comes with AudioCatalyst v2.1, with AudioGrabber v1.83 instead? A file, which I assume is the heart of the encoder, is placed in the "Program Files\Common Files" directory, namely xmencmp3.dll. AudioGrabber seems to need an exe or batch file to drive the dll (which makes sense).
Before anyone suggests I use the Lame encoder, I have, and while the quality is pretty good (it has definately improved since the last time I checked it out) I still find that the Xing encoder is better. As a side note I always felt that the Blade encoder was actually better than Lame but I don't believe that it is being developed anymore.
