Everyone should update to v16 as soon as possible.
There's an exploit in older versions:

We've updated all PortableApps.com packages that utilize 7-Zip. If you use the PA.c Platform and have automatic updates on, you're all set. If you don't, you'll need to update 7-Zip Portable, PeaZip Portable, PA.c AppCompactor, PA.c Installer, and the PortableApps.com Platform itself (it uses 7-Zip for its backup/restore functionality).

that's it ? i guess 16.x is buggy , some programs like YUMI & Universal USB Installer stopped to use the last version and go back to use 9.20
can i extract the right files and use the portable version provided by portableapps.com ?
and it's there a way to customize the shell integration icons?
thanks again

From the entry comments:
Special wrote:use 7-Zip for your compression needs, but for encrypting sensitive stuff you plan on uploading onto the web, look elsewhere
I did some digging and couldn't find any data on 7zip weaknesses. Could you list a source?
