List of other sites where you find portable apps

#1 Post by jr8rulz »

Lets make a running list of sites where you can find portable apps at aside from this great place. Make it a one-stop shopping list of sites for all the new PA users out there. We may also want to specify if its portable only, U3 portable, or both as everyone has different drives.

Another site for portable apps. Not as frequently updated as this one, but give a few other apps.

Also for the beginers a good initiative is provided by Framasoft that allow to download a preselected packadge of apps to install on a key. It's open source apps only.

Not really too interesting since most of the apps seem to be in the PF database already. Plus, the website is essentially just a straight list. I also noticed a few errors of apps that are known to not be portable (like Treepad Lite for example). I thought I'd post the link anyway, just for completeness.

What about no-install.com?

I used to visit http://www.no-install.com/ but from two weeks ago it seems disconnected.

Does someone know what happened? It was a good place too.

Regards.

I started my own collection of portable apps called portableappsworld.com
These apps are made portable by me using John T Haller's 7zipportable nsis script. my next releases for these apps are still going to be nsis based but by my own design
