Manyverse (multi-platform social app)

Manyverse is a free alternative for connecting with people online; it caught my attention because of its broad coverage (it's available for all platforms) and strongly declared open/free orientation...

Alas, Manyverse is Electron-based, so not really my cup of tea, but I still felt it deserved a post for, if nothing else, shining a light on a cluster of nice FLOSS initiatives anchored around the Scuttlebutt (SSB) protocol.
What is Manyverse? A social network without the bad stuff, built on the peer-to-peer SSB protocol. It's free and open source, and available for desktop and mobile.

Manyverse is currently v0.2307.3-Beta, released 2023-07-03 (changelog at gitlab.com/staltz/manyverse/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md).
