I hadn't heard of this, but saw a post about one of the founders that gave some more detail:

“DPReview has 8,800 news articles, 1,300 reviews (including 180+ video reviews), 160 opinion pieces, 160 interviews, 1,700+ sample galleries almost all created by DPReview staff stretching back to 1998" https://petapixel.com/2023/04/04/dprevi ... t-a-waste/

As someone with photographer friends, this was a tough one. Very glad something like the Internet Archive is around to help with this.
