DNS blocking resources - addressing addiction online

I don't know that it's interesting to anyone but me but I've been seeing more and more effective internet tools happen around DNS blocking. I'd mostly been using it for more anonymous internet usage and blocking wasteful ads and trackers. But I was surprised to see freely available efforts to try and address gambling and adult content concerns via DNS blocking.
I'm certain it's not comprehensive coverage for any and all sites, but for people who need every resource, it's nice to have options. I've seen a lot of problems around addiction in my world pleased to see someone with a reputation for security specifically target that topic with free options.

On the Windows side I've been manually entering DNS settings but there's also DNS Jumper and on iOS I've been using DNSCloak for easy management of connections with filters.
