DiffMerge is an application to visually compare and merge files for Windows, Mac OS X and Unix.

Product Features

* Diff. Graphically shows the changes between two files. Includes intra-line highlighting and full support for editing.

Hi, nice find you have there.

It can run without installation, but writes its settings to registry. Tested with jauntpe; it writes the following keys

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SourceGear\SourceGear DiffMerge]
As you can see it's not a full fletched registry hog, but thats the main settings, so a wrapper or a portable switch may be needed so the settings can be carried with you. (on usb or whatever)

Now at version 4.2 back in 2015. Fast, simple, supports drag-and-drop but not a lot of extras and options for analysis. Doesn't detect item moves, just compares line by line. Still a fan of WinMerge but the simplicity is nice.
