I mainly like this because I've spent so much time talking about text editors that are light on distractions and help you focus. This takes the other direction. Writing that explodes.

Update: Wasn't able to get this running, it requires OpenGL and I didn't have that installed in my Sandbox.

Definitely recommend modifying the flash function (set to 0 in Settings) -- not a fan of that part. But the rest is kind of comforting like what you're writing is important.

I could not start Textreme:
"Unable to initialize Video driver
Your video card driver does not support any of the supported OpenGL versions. ..."

!!!! Oh Holy Portability !!!!
