Lookeen - indexing desktop search

A very fast and (compared to similar tools) lightweight addition to available search tools with some very nice functionality. In particular I was thrilled to see Lucene-based searches e.g. the proximity search present in the screenshot below. I've been having some issues with DocFetcher and removable drives so I'm very pleased to find this one.

Steps: install, copy, uninstall, delete the "unins000" files and the "Add-in Express" from "My Documents". Run LookeenDesktopSearch.exe

Status: Not portable, writes to AppData\Local\Lookeen

License: Freemium, limits are very reasonable, most users will only notice the lack of access to network drives, Outlook, or archives.

Resource usage: 54 megs RAM, 84 megs disk space (not including the file index, which can vary wildly depending on drive size)

Update to v12.0.1.6400 is out -- no changelog that I could find, but the free edition does now appear to support Outlook searching: https://lookeen.com/product/features
