In the same spirit, these might be handy for some -- e.g., as in a full OS that runs in 32MB of RAM:

This reminds me a bit of the Mini XP (part of Hiren's Boot CD) https://www.computersecuritystudent.com ... index.html I used that at a job I had to build a basic server. That was one of my earliest uses of portable + bootable software in a professional setting. It was a serious eye-opener.
