Multi-platform FLOSS Qutebrowser (https://www.qutebrowser.org/) has been in development for a long time but its quirky features and distribution model prevented me to understand it well enough for a post here at TPFC.

Well, I finally managed to test it briefly and here's my findings in a nutshell.

Qutebrowser is mainly geared towards keyboard warriors, as its UI has no menus or toolbars -- e.g., to open a web address, one has to type 'o' and then write the URL -- and any existing context menus are scant, to say the least.

There are 'standalone' packages for Windows available for download from the homepage that you can extract to any location you fancy; but sadly this doesn't amount to native portability, as Qutebrowser will save settings to both '%LOCALAPPDATA%\qutebrowser' and '%APPDATA%\qutebrowser'.
qutebrowser is a keyboard-focused browser with a minimal GUI. It’s based on Python and PyQt5 and free software, licensed under the GPL. It was inspired by other browsers/addons like dwb and Vimperator/Pentadactyl.
