Hello Peeps...
Got another image viewer here..."Blaaah! Not another one of those...Why, WHY!!" you say...
Well, If you are into CG graphics a viewer is like shoes & you don't hike up a mountain in running shoes...You use hiking boots.
Same here...MyViewPad's greatest asset other than an attractive GUI (Old one only...New is horrendous) it can display over 100 image formats & write to over 30+
Now MyViewPad is available currently but has become ugly as sin & also new versions write to registry...
Old version creates INI file upon close...Delete it & back to square one. Plus GUI much more attractive, less waste space, Just having someone see your MyViewPad GUI will make you more attractive & virile too...
OK well here is the current screenshots page-
https://www.myviewpad.com/screenshots.html
Now here is the old from 2007-

Nothing bad to say about devs...In fact quite admire their comments like this-
Feature-wise I see no difference in new 4.xx version & old-old 3.5.0
So go here & DL the OLD 3.5.0-
https://web.archive.org/web/20071024033 ... nload.html
Universal Extract that puppy...I got the dialog & chose the first 'E_WISE_Unpacker' option & there you have it. After first run you get a very pleasing INI file for you too cherish or print out.
MyViewPad 3.5.0 Older Version (Superior)
Re: MyViewPad 3.5.0 Older Version (Superior)
What's the resource usage look like? RAM while running, disk space, etc.?
Is there anything other than a new UI (and not portable) with the new version?
Another good suggestion, thanks.

In use @ 14-19 MB RAM viewing pics...Great stability-agility...
The new version a little more with spiking going on mainly on accessing different functions...With 2 crashes within 6-7 minutes of use...So THAT's all the testing I needed do...
NEW IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER...
Disc space less than 10 MB unpacked...
With the ability to view so many formats & to save to 31 formats makes it a great choice for a graphics converter even if you don't need another viewer....

I like how fast and simple the program is, taking up only 12 megs of RAM on my Win7 system. It also has excellent image support, though it doesn't have one of my ideal formats, Animated PNG, but that's very reasonable as that format is newer than the program release.
Usage notes
* For some reason pulled images out of my MP3 files where they were embedded, which was a unique feature.
* Recurse subdirectories option is great, letting you cycle through all images in a given folder. Unfortunately when it reaches the end of one of the subfolders, it doesn't seem to continue to the next subfolder in the series e.g. folderA/folder1 should then proceed to folderA/folder2.
* The program has a conversion button at the bottom that points to a commercial image conversion tool, which isn't ideal but whatever. Right-clicking on the image lets you save to a huge list of available formats.
* There seems to be quite a bit under the hood if you look through the hotkeys. Not sure how much of that is active or just planned for future versions.
Wishlist
* Hide the file data window on the right side (edit: you can do that by clicking the little arrow off to the side)
* Although I'm fine with the skin, I'd like to be able to change the color, especially a neutral, black-and-white view. I tried modifying the .skin file directly as a .BMP file but it only sort of worked:
Status: Portable, writes to the app folder in MyViewPad.ini
