Organica & PropViewer - 3D apps

#1 Post by TalkOrBell »

Back again...

Here we have up for consideration are 2 3D apps, both are SINGLE EXEs requiring no install.

Organica is an old blob modeler that was a commercial product in the late 90s & actually was priced at $299.00. As things advanced they decided to make it free.

There is no present filehosting for Organica...It was at one time here-

Next is PropViewer which is a rather neat 3D viewer app. I use it alot for viewing 3DS & OBJ formats. It is actually setup to be a Poser prop viewer & any model you load can be saved as such...

Here you see it with the model set from Organica-

It is currently available at ShareCG but you gotta be a member to DL...Well I am a member there anyway

So as it is I have uploaded both applications here-

Propviewer is included inside the Organica archive

Hey! I'm looking to download Organica 1.0, but it seems your download link is no longer valid, and I couldn't find an alternative online. Any chance you could reupload the archive for everyone to enjoy? :D

Organica 1.2: https://archive.org/details/organica-12
(Seems to run fine directly from the unzipped folder. I did not check if it leaves traces elsewhere)
Note: Check the poster's page: https://archive.org/details/@ferociousia . There are old but potentially interesting 3D Apps.
