I've been looking into text processing and analysis tools lately so I dug into this based on the softpedia review and screenshots. It has some interesting, if unpolished tools for writers. Hopefully someone will be able to someday take some of the ideas here and build them into a full-fledged program. I was especially surprised by the lack of word wrap. Note that it may be acting differently because of my setup process.

Supposedly it has speech to text but that sounded like quite a lot for a random freeware program and it didn't work on my machine.

Saves to RTF format.

License: Freemium / nagware. $35 to get rid of the pop-up at start and enable tab functions. I'm not against paying someone for an excellent program, but not entirely sure the author is still active to accept payment.

Steps: Install, copy to another folder, uninstall, and run

Status: Portable, writes no settings

I had the program analyze our "about" page and here was some of the analysis:

I don't know how this analysis came together, but it's an interesting division of styles.

Readability (usually complexity and unrecognized words)

I do not agree with this analysis, but understand what they were trying to do.

The program even has a basic sentiment analysis that basically highlights words by their positive or negative status (sarcasm is not detected).
