i loved cool edit pro 2.1 ,and it's still an amazing program
is there a way to make it portable?

is there a way to make it portable?
I had an enormous amount of fun with many programs from the Cool Edit team. One of my early encounters with freeware that brought me to my work here.
Do you have an idea where it writes settings?

registry and 2 windows ini files
i tried to export the registry and create a portable version
but it doesn't keep the registration
