Preamble
I use hash tools regularly. My requirements are basic- support for 'drag&drop', 'stay on top', SHA1 bigger brothers (SHA256, SHA512), verification, export to file, portable. File Info fulfills all these requirements.

Synopsis

File Info is software that gives you information about your file(s) like CRC32, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512, and other file info.

Portability
File Info is portable by design- settings are saved in FileInfo.settings file inside program folder. However whether the program is stealth or not may be disputed (seemingly this applies to every .NET program).

The log file (File Info.exe.log):

C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\CLR_v4.0\UsageLogs

is not created by File Info but by CLR (Common Language Runtime).

There are also 2 registry keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\File Info_RASMANCS

which, to my knowledge, are created not by the program but by the system:

The software under Tracing registry indicates it can be traced and debugged.

Instructions

• Download the archive (7Z, RAR, ZIP or SFX);
• Extract the archive to a folder of your choice;
• Run the executable (File Info.exe);

Requirements
File Info should run under Windows 7 or higher, it requires .NET Framework 4.6 or higher.

License
File Info is closed-source, unrestricted freeware.

Note
File Info is small- version 0.6.3.2 is 1.27 MB.
File Info is moderate - version 0.6.3.2 uses about 24-35 MB of RAM under Windows 8 x64.
The developer, Sami Jildeh, is friendly, responsive and open to suggestions.

You could state that File Info is DotNET dependent in the post's subject {something like "File Info (DotNET hash utility)"} for further upfront transparency.

New update for File Info is available.

Change log:
Version 0.6.3.4 [20/7/2018]
-Fix: “Include subfolders” and “on Top” buttons appear as they are one when selected.
-Fix: Opening About window while File Info is on Top will make About window behind the main window.
-Right click menu got small change:
“Remove” button renamed to “Rename selected” and placed above “Clear list” button.
Added separator between “Verify by” and “Find info” buttons.
Empty list renamed to "Clear list”
-“Donate” button added in Help menu.
-Clear list option will clear the hashes too.
-Using "Remove selected" when only one file exists in the list will clear the hashes too.

Wishlist:

* A less generic, more unique name, e.g. Sam's File Info
* Ability to save / verify .SFV, .MD5, .SHA, or other standard hash file types, ideally in batches
