Defender Injector - add Defender exceptions via right click

#1 Post by klon »

Occasionally Microsoft Security Essentials or Windows Defender cause problems with some Files and software. Typical issues include slow performance or erratic operation. To work around these problems you can add this kind of Software folders / files to the list of exceptions. adding exceptions manually through the graphical user interface would be time consuming, tedious and, prone to human error therefore we have coded a simple portable Freeware to simplify the whole process .

1. To Add an exclusion to Windows Defender list just drag and drop any file or Folder on the software GUI

2. You can also Add defender Eclusions feature to your context menu

Nice. 8)

MS Defender is one of the three prongs in my extremely low overhead Windows security solution (the other two being Sentinel and WinPatrol), but I occasionally have to add (temporary) exceptions to it by hand.

I'm sure Defender Injector will make itself useful.

I'm currently testing the program. No obvious speed improvements yet but will continue analyzing.
