BigType is a lightweight and portable freeware which will enlarge all the characters you type in real-time.
A magnifying lens will show up briefly around the keyboard cursor, and will fade away after a few seconds.

BigType is the perfect tool for reducing eye strain, and for visually impaired people.

Settings allow you to change the zoom ratio, the size and position of the magnifying lens, and the delay before it disappears.

BigType works fine with most existing applications, bar Google Chrome and Firefox.
It can be accessed at any time by double-clicking its small icon on Windows traybar.
