PreventTurnOff
PreventTurnOff is a small and effective program that, as the name suggests, prevents the PC from going out or shutting down in a time-controlled manner!

Actually a shutdown timer with PC "Anti Blocking System", I didn't have much work with this program, because it is an offshoot of DontSleep before version 4.0. It only has the basic functions of DontSleep, but some users reported too many functions in DontSleep and problems with switching between the two modes, so PreventTurnOff is a simple shutdown timer with the advantages of an "anti-blocking system" and some extras features!

PreventTurnOff key functions:

◆ Ensures that the PC and monitor remain on
Shuts down the PC at a certain time
Quick access to energy options and so on

HOLY COW! 40kb, 24kb when UPX compressed, stresses out a GTX1080 but can run on intel GMA

I'll let the site's info say the rest

Info from website:
Simple Tunnel3dOK OpenGL!
A simple 3d tunnel based on OpenGL, the program has no great sense is just a tunnel programmed in C ++!

Everyone tries to write a game with OpenGL. You should start with a simple algorithm such as a tunnel or a maze to understand the drawing routines in OpenGL. Converting to 3D is very easy with OpenGL. The 3D drawing routine just needs to go through the array and draw walls. That is very easy.

3.) ... The Tunnel3dOK download!
4.) ... More information!

1.) What is this 3D OpenGL Tunnel good for?
The small 3D tunnel program is very small and the speed is individually adjustable and can be changed from very fast to very slow, otherwise it is just a simple tunnel that appears on the screen!

PhotoResizerOK
A tool that allows you to quickly reduce your photos in file size so as not to distribute your originals on social platforms!

Even as a beginner, you can get started right away without having to deal with complex image and photo knowledge! But also good for professional photographers who want to quickly distribute copies of their original RAW image data as reduced JPG images!

The key features in the image reduction tool

◆ Converting the images to other file formats
◆ Freely selectable compression
◆ Reduce the size of images
◆ Very fast (> 1 GB / minute)
Optional multiline watermark
◆ Also supports RAW images ( e.g. Canon camera)
◆ Copies image information (EXIF, rating, ..)
◆ ... and a lot more

Re: SoftwareOK: FindSameImagesOK

billon wrote: Tue Mar 13, 2018 1:19 pm Find.Same.Images.OK is a software to find the same or similar images and to search for rotated (mirrored) or negative images.
Recommended Usage
  1. Standard duplicate check - if you know there are some duplicates, ideally run a normal duplicate checker program first -- something like AllDup. This will save you a lot of time looking at images because you need to verify duplicates manually.
  2. Go with full settings comparison tools as detailed in the image below. The performance options are really only necessary if you're checking many thousands of images.

  3. Select a root folder or folders with images that you haven't been paying attention to and run the check. Makes sure you sort by confidence and check every image before zapping. Don't use this program to delete important images without checking, regardless of listed confidence level.
  4. Press Left or Right direction keys to point to the item you want to delete
  5. Finally, Right click and select Recycle Bin (checkbox) to clear out all the bad images
Image

Comparison impressions
  • Handles low-light images poorly -- all kinds of dark backgrounds that I had on machine came up as high confidence duplicates.
  • Fantastic for old marriage pictures where there are 6 pictures that are all slightly different because the photographer was clicking away.

Benchmarks

Setup: 112 images, some have been cropped and seen very minor image edits. The others are from a separate backup and I just want to be sure nothing I wanted to keep got deleted.

With the Performance Balance, no rotated, flipped, or negative image checks. 112 images in only 22 seconds on a 4-year old i5 Intel device.

Image

This same test with ALL of those options enabled took only a few seconds more on the same image set.

Image

So I'd say there's no reason not to check all the boxes and do an intensive search.

Image support

The program does support WEBP images, which I believe is unique in this space (as far as freeware). EDIT: Scratch that, AntiDupl.net supports WEBP as well.

OpenCloseDriveEject is a small and effective program when it comes to Open, Close DVD-, CD, Blue-Ray Drive Eject USB and External SSD, SD, ...!
Several recent updates here...
New in version 3.01 // 23 May 2022
Better recognition of some external drives and media
Small correction in the drive eject app

New in version 2.82 // 20 April 2022
Important update of the language files
Small improvements
Steps:

Download and extract. As usual with software from this dev, you'll create an INI file OpenCloseDriveEject.ini or copy it over from AppData if you accidentally ran the program after download.

Status: Portable

NOTE: I haven't tested it with devices that are not interested in being ejected due to open programs or files. This is one of the most common frustrations with Windows and USB drives.
