Not tested, but of course it's not "portable"

Possible alternative to Portable WinCDEmu

I have not tested ImgDrive thoroughly (for example I have not played with Create ISO Image and Copy Disc) but my first impressions (of the installer version) are very good, I prefer it to the more powerful commercial program I have, for example, in contrast with the commercial program, after installation ImgDrive doesn't require restart to mount virtual drives and the user may specify the driver letter for the virtual drive. The so-called portable version is a kind of portable- after the work is completed the user can unload the drive. The program is continuously updated but the latest installer- 1.4.5 (ImgDrive_1.4.5.exe) is actually version 1.4.7, while the archive is at version 1.4.5 (ImgDrivePortable_1.4.5.zip). Several screens:

Although ImgDrive is not open-source and the GitHub Project is for translations only one can submit other problems and suggestions at the Issues Page too.

I suppose that ImgDrive may turn commercialware or donationware, see screens below:

The last version which didn't have registration box was 1.4.5.

This is How to Reguster page which is accessible only from the registration box help button.

Since I do not like 'registration' menus I will switch back to version 1.4.5. I suppose that "Many minor changes" from Change Log means registration.

The "portable" version looks like this:

So far there is no "Registration" for the portable version.

Given the nature of mounting drives does this qualify for an entry here or was it just due to not being tested thoroughly for portability yet as smaragdus mentioned?

I guess the later is a more apt status description. :?

Given enough testing to support a portable consensus, someone's bound to add it to the database.
