Every few days I need to re-log back in because my session here seems to get expired, I have my cookies saved, so what's the deal?

DUH...It's because you're special.

Is this normal behavior though? Like sometimes cookies expire after X number of days, I just find this annoying.

The cookies look like they're set to expire after 7 days. Could probably be set much longer by default. Workaround is to go grab a cookie editor and edit the expiration date and also maybe protect it from deletion.

Yes, the cookie is set to persist for 7 days.

I am not sure what is going on. Did you try using another browser? Or maybe an add-on is interfering with the cookie.

7 days sounds about right, I don't check this site "too often" maybe 2-3 times a week, so to me it just feels like I'm always having to log back in, out off all the sites I visit, this is the only one that signs me out so much. I might have to look into "how to" edit the cookies and make them 30 day or so.

So uh, can this be increased to something like 30 days or have an option at login for "never expire"?

Is it such a big deal to just tick (once) the login option "Log me on automatically each visit" ?

So since Andrew Lee's last post, I've been logged out twice now... it seems random as far as I can tell, no set number of days, sometimes I'm good for a week, others it's a few days, my cookies are saved for this site and I use no sort of "cleaner" that would delete such files, I also have other sites where I've been "logged in" for months and still going with no issues, so I'm not sure whats the deal here.

Does anyone else here have to log in at least once a week? Has anyone been "logged in" for a really loooooooooooong time, like months, with no issues? If so then it's something on my end.

Well, I can attest that after you brought the issue up and Andrew's subsequent changes, I get logged off a lot more than I used to...
