Reading Gaijin's post about an update for PlainEdit, I visited his website and I found a new portable program: RegistryViewer 1.0
You can view registry files and perform searches.
These files are located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\ (I use XP)
You can use drag and drop to open registry files (SYSTEM, SOFTWARE, SAM, NTUSER.DAT, SECURITY, USERDIFF and DEFAULT are supported)
You can not open registry files used by running operating system.
It's portable.![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
