Free alternative to Sandboxie?
Needs more testings.

The Wikipedia page looks pretty sharp https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shade_sandbox . I'll give it a shot.

So I tested this out and I think the free version of Avast interfered basically sandboxing a sandbox. Whatever the case, it caused a severe system error and essentially made the machine unusable. I had to restore from a thankfully recent backup.

As this cost me quite a few hours of work, I won't be retesting.
