NTFS Permissions Tools

#1 Post by Midas » Mon Jul 06, 2015 9:23 am

NTFS Permissions Tools is a portable explorer like filesystem permission manager with discrete 32 and 64-bit executables. I did not check the stealth status, but settings were conveniently kept in the program folder. Please pay attention to the quirky location of the application menu -- it's on the bottom left corner icon...

The main advantage over Window's built-in permission and security tool is accessibility and ease of use. It takes less time to change permissions and security settings.

Tested and Approved. This tools just jumped into my USB Work Thumb Drive.
Really easy to use.
Portable: 100%. No registry entry where made that I am aware, or it was so stealth to do it it escaped my guardians tools.
Good tool so far, will persevere testing.

I have a specific need for this (one file on my system has really unclear, so far unfixable Windows permissions) so I tried this out. Unfortunately no luck with my particular issue but I put together some data that might help out for an eventual entry.

Steps:
  1. Download the ZIP file and extract to a folder of your choice
  2. Launch NPT86.exe or NPT64.exe for 64-bit Windows
