Re: Forum search permissions
Anyone else seeing this?
Re: Forum search permissions
No, I'm not -- both the forum search message and your image (in the first few tries, Imgur was returning some max threads reached message)...

Re: Forum search permissions
It looks OK now. Maybe it was a minor glitch.
Re: Forum search permissions
Bummer! Could it be a result of the patch Andrew applied a while back? Yet, I never got that error message until few days ago...
Re: Forum search permissions
I just saw it for the first time...

Re: Forum search permissions
This error message is related to the search flood restriction set in phpBB's config.
Background: If you perform forum searches in quick successions (even if you are logged in), you will likely hit a phpBB error message telling you that you're doing it too fast and to try again later.
Previously the script performing the forum search and merging into TPFC's database search results did not interpret the error message correctly and was returning an empty result set instead. webfork alerted me to this problem a few days back. He searched for an app and did not see any forum search results for that app when in fact this was not true. So I fixed up the code to catch and return the error message from phpBB, which is what you are seeing intermittently if you are performing the searches in quick successions (or if phpBB is too overloaded with searches - it has a global config value for this).
