MixBrowser (web archiver IE frontend; obsolete!)

Although it was payware and has been long gone from the Net, I've been meaning to make a post about InternalSoft MixBrowser for a long time. Why? For historical reasons (it was originally meant for MSIE 5, but it worked alright with 6, too), and because it was such a "black swan", whose functionality has never been fully replicated since. Oh, and it was almost portable, too (but not stealth).
IMHO, it's major usability feature was how it archived web content to MSIE MHTML format, which was then ultra-easy to just rename as EML and forward as MS Outlook Express mail messages. So I'll just leave this post here, FTR...
MixBrowser last release (v1.7) can be downloaded from http://web.archive.org/web/200710260637 ... rowser.exe.
