NeverBall

#1 Post by Fluffy »

I absolutely adore this game. Extremely high quality, features the normal "tilt the floor" game mode and a miniature golf variant, both of which are very good at sucking up your free time. The only real problem is it was compiled using Visual Studio .NET, and needs a dll from the .NET runtime in order to function. However, a quick google brought me a download link for the dll, which i placed in the NeverBall folder and it ran just fine.

Synopsis: Tilt the floor to roll a ball through an obstacle course before time runs out. Neverball is part puzzle game, part action game, and entirely a test of skill. Tilt the floor to roll a ball through an obstacle course before time runs out. Also included is Neverputt, a hot-seat multiplayer miniature golf game using the physics and graphics of Neverball. Finally, a level editor is included.

Writes settings to: Application Subfolder. There are many different files which store the High Scores, Options, etc.

How to Extract: Unzip and run neverball.exe or neverputt.exe, or mapc.exe if you're interested in building levels.

License: Open-Source

System Requirements: Windows 2K / XP, OpenGL hardware acceleration. 500+ Mhz processor recommended.

Adding a comment to warn about MSVCR71.dll, since neverball/putt won't run unless you have them. :)
