I'm using Corsair Flash Padlock 2GB
(http://www.corsair.com/products/padlock.aspx)
Easy security: drive not recognized until punching a PIN using drive's keypad. Great for portable applications. No software, no partitioning!
Auto-locks when disconnects. Works like a dream on anything with USB - PC, Mac, Linux
I'm eagerly waiting for the 8GB Flash Padlock

Shouldn't you be paying for this kind of advertising?

I'd agree in principle, but in this particular case I actually found the info interesting and relevant to the portable community. I'd like to learn more about it.

Maybe we should have a corner to present interesting new hardware?

I have nothing against people recommending good products on here when applicable. This is just too much though.

Member for a day and this is the first post?

Written as blatantly as a TV advertisement?

It looks to me that the seller of the product is using this forum as a sales board.

The way I see it, Andrew pays good money to keep this site going, why should it be misused by marketers to avoid paying for advertisements?

This is portable freeware not portable freeloading.

There, that's my 2 and a ha'penny, I'm done

Heh, I thought this board was exactly for that. :P

It's made by Corsair, they are a big international company, do you really think they would sneakily post on a forum pretending to be a regular user? I can't see it to be honest. Just looks like an interesting product to me.
