Windowspager taskbar thumbs on Win8

Hi there,
as has already been mentioned on this site, there are no taskbar thumbs with this app in 8. Has anybody found a solution to this? I have played around with the .ini with no luck and am not a coder, so looking at source is beyond my ken. The app seems to function correctly apart from this one issue. I have tried other similar apps, (Virualwin, dexpot, etc) but prefer this one, so would like to keep using it.
