Seeing how
webfork is happy with
DesktopOk's latest feature, I'd like to remind PowerPro users that something similar (global volume control using mouse wheel on screen edge - top, bottom, left, right or any combination of them) is also achievable with this tool (the advantage is this method works also with fullscreen apps):

Actually I'm using this trick with a combination of a top bar that shows the actual volume level.
Right-click on the bar lowers the volume and left-click raises, and it works with the mousewheel too. Middle mouse click toggles mute (indicated by red color).
Recently I started using a StrokesPlus hotkey too:

Did anyone upgrade PP to a newer version and make it fully work on
Win11? On Win11, hotkey commands for the taskbar don't seem to work anymore with those little taskbar icons sitting on the right side of the Win11 taskbar. When executing a hotkey for some icon in the taskbar, PP 5.3.37 keeps displaying two "PowerPro error" messages saying "Cannot locate tray icon window" and "Cannot find window to change or to send keys to". It has always worked perfectly on my late WinXP. Anyone here had a similar problem with PP on Win11 and could solve it, or is that feature gone for good?
I'm asking here, as the PP groups are always quite cryptic and confusing to me (just like back then when they were still hosted on Yahoo
). I couldn't even find out what the latest version of PP is or where to download it.

When you login on the homepage you'll see the newest versions under the Files sub-menu.
I don't own any Win 11 versions, but on Win 10 PowerPro hotkeys still work fine.

I got as far as the Files sub-menu after my newest registration there, but then the download link opened a "mail-to" link that
only offered to either open Outlook or MS Edge (both of which I don't use), no other option could be chosen, as would normally be the case. Weird. Maybe I'll try again when I'm in the mood to deal at length with it.

Interesting, I do envy you. Some hotkeys and some other stuff seem to work on Win11 but not sending keys to the icons in the taskbar. I wonder whether using one of those tweaking tools that revert the Win 11 tray/taskbar back to Win10's taskbar might help. But I suppose it would just be an optical change and not make PP recognize the apps sitting in the tuskbar either. Maybe when I'm more acquainted with those groups again, I'll try asking on those groups. BruceS, as you probably know, is always very helpful and patient.
Add: a pop-up window (not related to the traybar) that PP always could automatically click away on XP, doesn't get recognized by PP on Win11 either. "Rolling up" a window so only the title bar remains visible, on some windows works, on some doesn't, etc.
