Not sure what category it would fit into (I guess since it doesn't actually edit anything, it isn't an Editor). I use it to go through (very) large log files and other large files that notepad or other editors choke on.
Synopsis: (from site) This program was designed for viewing large (>1GB) text files. It uses little memory and is able to open a gigabyte file instantly Background file indexing makes browsing even faster. It allows the user to perform high-speed complex text search by means of plain text or regular expression.
Writes settings to: Application folder (v4.1)
How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch the program by double-clicking on LTFViewr4u.exe.
Unicode support: Yes
System Requirements: WinNT / Win2K / WinXP (an older version is available without unicode that can run on earlier versions of windows)
Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.
