I am sorry too- it seems the blockade is broader than I thought:

I still cannot access CHK Website- any time I try to open it I get 403 Forbidden error. To access it I need to use a proxy. However if I manually add download links to my download manager I can download the files.

... following your link, it works for me, using Firefox 58.0.2 x64, time 9:16 PM Pacific. I also followed Enocode's link to the forum - http://encode.ru/ - works.

For what it's worth, ran the link thru VirusTotal just to see if anything came up - looks OK - https://www.virustotal.com/#/url/d41047 ... /detection

@Mike.S.G. & @Midas

It is not about browsers but about geo-blocking, screen:

The VirusTotal link reminds me that I have to block it via hosts, thanks.

Topic update: CHK v2.35 released (no date or changelog online; file date is 2017-11-06)

Softpedia still showing v2.31 as the last changelog entry (at www.softpedia.com /progChangelog/CHK-Changelog-210874.html).

Dunno if already supported in previous versions, but Blake2x (https://blake2.net/) and base 32 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base32) SHA are highlighted.

The biggest update ever - CHK v3.00

The biggest thing about this release is multithreading support! Plus, a new file verification mechanism. Enjoy new release! 8)

Off-topic
These idiots at Postimage.org are sabotaging my work constantly changing links, I had to re-upload a couple of images to another, better provider to make them visible again. I curse the day I registered at Postimage.org- this is a totally unreliable service, I don't know how many of my posts have been destroyed by these rascals. I suppose I will end up using my own server.

@encode
I will have a look at CHK version 3.00 when I have time, thanks for the update.
