40tude Dialog - Windows newsreader with Unicode character support

Image

Synopsis: 40tude Dialog is a feature loaded, multi-server, multi-threaded Windows newsreader with Unicode character support.
It supports multiple servers and identities, has filtering/scoring support, integrated email functionality and binary support including support for multiparts.

40tude Dialog has a multilingual GUI. Currently English, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Croatian and Greek translations are available.

Writes settings to: Application Folder. It only writes to Windows registry if you register it as default news/email reader, but Dialog will work without problems without these keys. On the contrary these keys should *not* be set when Dialog is only temporarily available on a USB stick.

How to extract: Download and launch the program by double-clicking on it.

License: Freeware for private users.

System Requirements: Windows 9x/2k/Xp. To run 40tude Dialog on Windows 95 you need the "Winsock 2" update from Microsoft.

Back in the day, Free Agent (now Forté Agent, payware) used to be the standard for everything Usenet-- 40tude Dialog strongly reminds me of it... :|
