#1 Post by destbr » Sat Jul 07, 2007 8:15 am

Hi all,

i wrote the launcher (based on the Karl Loncarek template) for HeidiSQL and is avaiable to download at sourceforge.net.

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=164593

HeidiSQL is a front-end for mysql.

Thanks!

Hi!

The HeidiSQL is the "new" project after mysql-front. :D

but, do you have mysql-front 2.5 to send me for analyzes?

2.5 is the latest version?

you can send me via rapidshare, for example.

thanks!

Hello, I looked up that Karl Loncarek template you used and managed to make 2.5 portable. So I'm all set!

2.5 is rather old - but its very stable and does the job very well (as long as the database version is supported). HeidiSQL is very promising but it's still not as stable and intuitive as 2.5 - so thats why its still the main client here..

Old topic update: the present is now the official forum topic for HeidiSQL, an OSS Windows 32 and 64 bits database management utility.

It enables you to browse and edit data, create and edit tables, views, procedures, triggers and scheduled events. Also, you can export structure and data either to SQL file, clipboard or to other servers.
