Coupled with the fact that it's uncertain whether or not this product will continue after June 2012.

Version valid until 1 Sept 2012, new versions will appear much earlier.

I have been using this a lot lately and, although it's not stealth (saves a '
cache.dat' and '
prefs.xml' to '
%APPDATA%\Geek Uninstaller', and creates a '
LastRunDate'
REGQWORD under '
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Geek Uninstaller'), I'm positively impressed by its effectiveness and simplicity.
What I haven't found is any mention of the time-bomb; please enlighten me...

v1.0.4.7 '

Geek Uninstaller v1.3.1.37 released (changelog at
http://www.geekuninstaller.com/download).
FYI,
Geek Uninstaller is the portable freeware offer by the same maker of popular
Uninstall Tool, which is also portable but not free...

But since this was added to the DB, shouldn't this thread be moved to submission then?
Also, the "Suggested by" field seems wrong.

@Andrew Lee

- @EL_DeLino: entries in the database usually get the "Suggested by" member name from the first mention in the forums (should it exist), not from the poster... corrected.
BTW, Ghacks.net recently reviewed freeware uninstallers (Geek, IObit, and Revo):

I added a note to the entry. Could we just downvote it? These are the three users listed as having voted for it:

Very good writeup by GHacks. Somehow overlooked it. I too noticed that GU didn't appear as thorough as RU, but didn't have any hard evidence - until now. Good enough for me. Already downvoted.
