I did start to think that search engine innovation was in the past but an article over on ycombinator highlighted some ways in which Google search is falling behind, and more than just losing ground to Bing. I was impressed.

Notably, You.com and Kagi both have forum search options, which would find posts like this one. On that front, I've had poor forum results from DuckDuckGo/Bing.

The other search engine highlighted was Neeva, where I found some really solid code snippets, as promised.

I've increasingly been using Reddit (via a frontend alternative like Teddit or libreddit) to search for various things.

This is the first I've heard of Kagi and Neeva. You.com was recently mentioned on Ghacks.

Having been angered by the Pinterest spam many times, I eagerly read through a couple of HN threads.

But after looking through them, my knee-jerk reaction to resources like Neeva and Kagi (You.com didn't like my slightly oudated Firefox or K-Meleon, BTW, and loaded only in Vivaldi) is the looming specter of a two-tiered internet where those paying will get prime rate results while everyone else will be stuck with the commercial trash(ed) remainder.

That being said, browsing HN comments surfaced a couple of seemingly very useful resources for adblock users (mainly uBlock Origin, mind you) which I'll point to here:

• Let's Block It (https://letsblock.it/filters/search-results)
  This template allows you to remove search results based on their URL for both text and image searches. It supports several search engines (and contributions are welcome to add suport for more!). Results will be hidden if their link destination contains one of the values you pass.

• uBlock-Origin-dev-filter (https://github.com/quenhus/uBlock-Origin-dev-filter)
  Filters to block and remove copycat-websites from DuckDuckGo, Google and other search engines. Used to be specific to dev websites like StackOverflow or GitHub, but it currently supports others like Wikipedia. To use this tools, you should have uBlock Origin installed.

Probably a good idea to use something else or put Startpage as a backup option and not as your primary search engine.cda hd można oglądać wiele filmów i seriali. Searx is still my default, but I've started using DuckDuckGo more recently as my secondary option.

Did u get access? WHen i clicking url i had blocked site, i dont know why. Someone? Turned off adblocks and still the same
